In Horizon Worlds travel to Japan in the spring to take part in the Japanese tradition of cherry blossom viewing “Hanami”! Take cherry blossom viewing anywhere with you. Maybe ride a dragon!

I conceptualized and created the design. Handed off the sketch to a graphic designer. Then checked the scientific accuracy.

This scale illustration depicts the BBB environment, fluorescent markers, therapeutic methods, and drugs. The BBB environment with glycocalyx, basement membrane, pericytes, and astrocyte end-foot processes are in microns while the molecules in the right inset are in nanometers. The left inset is not to scale to enable comparison between the competent and disrupted tight-junction.

Project Description

3D assets ( salps and an octopus tentacle) were post-composited in Photoshop and Illustrator to create a poster for Marine Biology undergraduates to describe the Jet Propulsion mechanism of action of Salps or Cyclosalpa affinis.
